Clearly, I have zero creativity when it comes to “naming” a cake. But that’s okay… the cake speaks for itself!

The birthday girl wanted the 3D owl on top that I used first on this Owl with Lollipops Birthday cake… then on this Owl Baby Shower cake.  You can read how I made the owl here.

Do you like owls?  I’ve also done this Whoo Loves You Baby Shower Owl cake… and this huge (all cake) Owl Cake and this small (yet adorable!) owl cake.  Owls are apparently the “in” thing right now!

But… she wanted bright colors!  The birthday party colors were designed around these bright colorful plates and napkins.

I didn’t copy the designs exactly but I tried to get the essence of the design on the cake.  I used my extruder to make the name for the board…

Here are links for the other cutters I used on this cake… and I must say while I’m listing them that these cutters are the ones I use the most!  They are my favorites and I used them all the time!!

If you’re wondering about a good place to start your cookie cutter (fondant cutter) collection…I’d consider these “essentials”.    Here you go:

And that’s that…
