Yesterday over at CakeJournal.com, I shared a new tutorial for How to Make Fondant Basketweave.  You can see all the other details about this cake here.

I decided to do this tutorial when I was working on the Teddy Bear Picnic Cake.  I searched online for a tutorial to do fondant basketweave but couldn’t really find anything that showed me step-by-step.

So, I had to come up with it on my own and I thought why not share it with you too?

I realize this may not be a technique you’d use often, but when you need it, I think you’ll be pleasantly surprised to find out that making fondant basketweave really easy to pull off and it comes together very quickly!
