If you were not previously a reader of mine on AdventuresinSavings.com, you may not know that I’m a Swag Bucks addict!  You see… a couple of years ago when I decided I wanted my first DSLR camera and didn’t have the money to pay for it, I decided to save up my Amazon gift cards earned with Swag Bucks and get my first really fancy camera!

And you know what?  I did it (almost…I paid a little out-of-pocket)!  You can read about when I got my new camera here.

Then last year I decided to save up mt Swag Bucks again but use the gift cards to pay for Christmas.  I ended up with $540 in Amazon gift cards in one year to put toward our Christmas spending.

Well, it’s a new year and I have a new item on my wish list.  I’m dying to have this Lowell Ego Light Set.  And my plan?  You guessed it… I plan to pay for the set with Amazon Gift Cards earned from Swag Bucks.

If you’re wondering why I want them, it’s because I often baking and decorating cakes in the middle of the night, but the lighting in my house is terrible, so I can never take pictures until the next day – when I can get some natural light.  Well, that’s not always convenient, so I’m hoping with these lights, I’ll have more options with my photography!

So, if you haven’t heard of Swag Bucks, here’s the basic information.  Swag Buck is a search engine (sort of like Google), except when you search, you sometimes win Swag Bucks.  I usually win at least 2-3 times per day using Swag Bucks for all of my searches.   They’ll look something like this:

You can also earn Swag Bucks by doing other things like taking surveys, watching Swag Bucks TV, participating in special offers, etc.  I explain alot of that over here on AdventuresinSavings.com if you’re interested.

Once you’re winning, you save up, then you can cash in for gift cards, prizes and lots of other fun stuff.  I personally save mine for Amazon gift cards (450 Swagbucks = $5 Amazon gift card).   I generally earn about $25 per month… sometimes more, sometimes less.

Are you interested in earning?  Sign up and start searching with Swagbucks today (be sure to install the toolbar to make it so much easier!!).     Why would I want you to sign up?  Well, if you sign up with my referral link, I earn Swag Bucks every time you to up to your first 1000!   The good news is that you can refer people too and you’ll win when they do!

If you have any questions, leave me a comment!    I’ll keep you posted on my earnings and hopefully I’ll have those new lights in just a few months!!
