Fall & Halloween Cupcakes

Last year I did some Fall and Halloween cupcakes and shared them here (and five fall cakes here).  Well, it’s that time of year again and I had an order this past weekend.  I didn’t want them to be identical to last year, but I struggled with how to make them different… and better!  Here’s what I came up with:

Candy Corn (my favorite!!)…

Pumpkins…

Ghosts…

Spiders…

And creepy eye balls….

These were all vanilla cupcakes with vanilla buttercream decorations (except the stem on the pumpkins… it was Satin Ice Dark/Chocolate Brown fondant).   For the liners, I used these striped baking cups, these bright red ones and these dark brown ones!
