Since I got home from vacation on Saturday, I’ve been slowly but surely whittling down my pile of emails. It’s been
a nightmare fun catching up on hundreds of emails. Okay, not really “fun” but finding some great deals that I had missed did make the process more bearable. In the interest of spreading the love, here are 5 Things I Bought Today…
First, I bought this cake stand. Ya’ll… as soon as I saw it in my email from Zulily, I knew I had to have it. They also have one without the pedestal that’s just as awesome. But I didn’t buy both… I was a good girl.
Then I bought Jessica Harris’ new Craftsy Class: Playful Techniques. If you haven’t grabbed it yet… go do it now. Seriously.
Ya’ll know I love me some Jessica Harris (did I tell you I met her at Cake Fest? see below) and I love her classes since I’ve mentioned them here, here and here (to name a few places), so I’m not kidding when I say that you’ll love it and her!
In the top pic, my awesome friend Susan and I totally called her out in the parking lot and asked for a picture and in the bottom pic we were all at the Bible study that she taught at Cake Fest. Both times… she was super sweet and very authentic!
Okay – sorry – I got off track there for a minute. In addition to the cake stand and the Craftsy class, I placed an Amazon order. I was seriously having Amazon withdrawals on vacation… I’ve never gone that many days without Amazon before…. it was hard. Ha!
On there, I ordered Glittery Cardstock Paper (that I use to cover boards these days… and I’m loving it!!) and some grease-proof pink cupcake liners for an upcoming order (not pictured). I’m really hoping they hold up to the “grease-proof” name… or I’m gonna be in a pinch!
And last… this is a biggie. I bought a new laptop today. When I replaced mine that died back in May, I earned $314 in Dell Rewards. Note: I bought mine on Dell.com to use up my rewards, but it’s actually cheaper on Amazon so I’m linking to it there.
I’ve been wanting an extra laptop for the kids to use for schoolwork, so I found an inexpensive one that had decent ratings without a lot of bells and whistles and ordered it using my credit! Yay for a nearly FREE laptop (by the time they added taxes and a drops & spills warranty , it was a little more than the reward card). By the way, the Dell Drops & Spills Warranty is SO worth it if you have kids!! Trust me.
So there you go. My shopping spree for the day. It was fun, but I’m thinking I should probably let that be my shopping “fix” for the week. Too many days like that and I’d be in big trouble 😉
