This is a bit of a re-share from my archives, but I felt like this post was worth sharing again – especially for those of you who haven’t been around my blog all that long! So… 8 Ways to use an Extruder for Cake Decorating!
My extruder is a tool I use all the time. I daresay, almost every week that I have an order, I use my extruder. A few weeks ago when I was working on this crazy-big hospital cake in the wee hours of the morning, my extruder broke. And I cried.
The poor thing had been used and abused far beyond what I imagine a normal person uses an extruder and well… the threads on the end just gave out. And I cried. At nearly 3am, when I was –>this close<– to finishing the top border on the hospital cake… my extruder quit on me.
It was bad ya’ll.
Anywho – I immediately (yes, at 3am) went to my laptop, hopped on Amazon and ordered another one (with my free 2 day shipping). I just did not want to think about not having it on hand for my next cake. I’m not lying – I use it that much.
So when I came across this post recently and realized that it was almost 3 years old and not being shared very much, I put it on my list of posts to share again! So here we are 🙂
