Description

This Chocolate Chip Baked Oatmeal is healthy, wholesome, filling and delicious!


Ingredients

Scale
  • 6 cups Old Fashion Quaker Oats
  • 1 cup applesauce
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 4 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 2 cups milk
  • 2 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 1 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the oats, applesauce, brown sugar, eggs, baking powder, salt, milk and vanilla extract. Then stir in the chocolate chips.
  3. Pour into a greased 9×13-inch pan. Bake for 30-40 minutes or until set and lightly browned.
  4. You can prepare it, cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate overnight before baking.
  5. Best served warm but we also love it at room-temperature for an afternoon snack!
