Ingredients
- Giant Pretzel Rods
- Dark Green Candy Melts
- White Confetti Sprinkles, White Nonpariels, Chunky Sugar or White Jimmies
- Shortening (optional and not pictured, but highly recommended for thinning candy melts - see this post: How to Thin Candy Melts)
Instructions
- Pour the green candy melts into a tall (skinny-ish) microwave-safe container. Add a couple of teaspoons of shortening (or check this post for other ideas to help thin them). .
- Melt green candy according to package instructions. I put mine in the microwave for a minute, stirred, then again in 30 second increments until completely melted and smooth.
- Dip the pretzels, one at a time, tapping off the excess candy.
- Place them on a parchment or wax paper covered cookie sheet. Sprinkle with jimmies. You can let them set at room temperature (it takes awhile) or pop them in the fridge for 5-10 minutes.
