When I did a post like this for April – I had such great intentions of doing it at the beginning of every month. Then I forgot. So here’s my May list – coming to you mid-month. Here’s what I’m Currently Loving – May 2020.
Without further rambling, here we go…
1 : Squirrel Key Chain
I’m loving my new life motto, “Be like a squirrel.” It was inspired by my new key chain, which I’m also loving!! ❤️️ It makes me smile – it’s cute and fun… and totally relevant for the times we’re living in.
Because I’m definitely feeling a little nuts these days. 🥜🥜🥜
3 : A Pink Cupcake Carrier
I shared this cupcake carrier early in the week and you (my readers) have been loving it! It’s still in stock as I write this – so hurry and snag one!
3: Home Chef
The great thing about Home Chef is that the meals are planned and the shopping is done for you! It costs a little more than I normally spend on groceries/meals but even if you decide to cancel later, you can order for the first week using a $35 credit that will make at least one week very affordable, daresay even cheap!!
I didn’t want to share this with you until I’d tried it myself so we’ve been paying customers for a month (on my own dime – this is not sponsored) and we’ve been truly impressed with how fresh and delicious the meals were.
The only downside, in my opinion, is the price (without the initial credit). For a family of 8, it’s pretty pricey compared with our usual budget, so this is definitely a splurge for us. It’s more than I spend on meals for us at home, but still less than eating out at a nice restaurant, so I can justify it once a week or so during this time where we can’t eat out.
But if this fits your budget and/or you have a smaller family, it’s definitely worth it. In your box, you’ll get all the food you need plus a step-by-step easy recipe with pictures to make gourmet meals at home. And of the four meals we’ve eaten, we’ve loved them all!
With the $35 credit, the cheapest option (if I did my math right) is 2 meals per week with 2 portions per meal for just $14.80 shipped. That’s a steal for meals made with fresh ingredients that you don’t have to leave home for!! It’s cheaper than fast food!!

3 : Round Rainbow Puzzle
I’ve mentioned before that we’re a puzzle-loving family so I was super excited to see this Round Rainbow Puzzle on sale for only $9 on Amazon right now and it ships free with Amazon Prime (get a free trial here).
4 : Chocolate Making Classes
I wrote an entire post about taking chocolate making classes here and if you’re looking for another product to add to your menu during these difficult times, I highly recommend checking out these classes!
5 : Expandable Silverware tray
When we remodeled our kitchen and got all the drawers, one of the first things I added was an expandable silverware tray. It was a perfect addition to my drawer and I absolutely love it!
I added a piece of nonskid mat underneath it to keep it from sliding and now I only wish I had a second one for the drawer on the other side of the cooktop! I love these Bamboo trays from Belk!
Okay – that’s all I’ve got for you right now! I hope you’ll find a thing or two on this list that will brighten your day!
6. Germ-X is in stock!
I never thought I’d be sharing Germ-X as something I’m loving, but I was ridiculously excited to see that Office Depot had Germ-X in stock this morning for not insane prices.

Okay – I’m off to work at my brother’s shop today! I hope you have a terrific weekend!
