Easy Halloween Chocolate Covered Apple Slices

Easy Halloween Chocolate Covered Apple Slices are a really festive treat – perfect for Fall! You can make them simple with drizzled chocolate and caramel or get creative and make them into fun, Halloween treats! Adults and kids alike will enjoy these apple slices in a bite or two. Learn how in this easy tutorial.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 to 5 Fuji Apples
  • Cake Pop Sticks
  • 1 bag of White Melting Chocolate
  • 1 bag of Black Melting Chocolate
  • Candy Eyes
  • 1 bag of Caramel Bits
  • Sprinkles

Tools

  • Parchment Paper
  • Baking Sheet

Instructions

  1. Start by slicing your apples a little under half an inch thick, from top to bottom as shown.
  2. Place your cake pop stick through the center of the slice from the bottom.
  3. In 3 separate bowls, melt down your white chocolate, black chocolate and caramel in the microwave.
  4. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  5. Dip half your apple slices in white chocolate and half in black chocolate.
  6. Lay on the parchment paper, add candy eyes to a few white chocolate ones, and sprinkles to a few.
  7. Place in the fridge for 10 minutes, and allow to set.
  8. Once set, decorate each one. Each apple with eyes, will be mummies. With a spoon full of white chocolate go back and forth over your apple, flinging strings of white chocolate on the apple.
  9. Decorate your remaining apples with the leftover chocolate and caramel.
  10. Serve and enjoy!
