This post is going to be short and sweet (no pun intended!). Â I know I've shared things like this before, but I had fun playing with the photo and I really wanted to "Pin It", so I had to do a post.
I whipped this up Fall M&M's & Popcorn Snack Mix last night when my daughter told me (at the very  last minute!) that she was supposed to bring snacks for her GA's class at church.
Here's what I did. Â I popped one bag of extra buttery microwave popcorn. Â I spread it on a cookie sheet covered in wax paper. Â I sprinkled some Fall M&M's all over.
Then I took some leftover yellow and red candy melts, melted them in the microwave for maybe a minute (probably 4-6 oz. total?).
After melted, I dipped a fork in the melted red-colored chocolate and sort of flicked it/drizzled it all over. Â I got a clean fork and repeated with the yellow... and Wha-La!! Â Â (You will need to let it harden, or stick it in the frig for a few minutes to set the chocolate).
After it was set, I scooped it into a bowl and off to church she went... it took less than 15 minutes total!!
You can find more details and lots more options on my Candy Corn Snack Mix Recipe and my Easter Bunny Snack Mix.
I absolutely love to make fun treats like this that look like you spent way more time preparing them than you actually did!
What about you? Â What's your go-to snack for last minute situations? Â I'd love to hear!!
