I’m having withdrawals from sharing cakes. I love writing posts and editing photos and all that good stuff! If you missed it on Facebook, my laptop is broken and I’m without all of my gadgets and passwords that I use to write blog posts, work online, and edit photos (add watermarks).
But, I couldn’t stand it any longer, so I used an online tool (that I’m not familiar with at all) to edit this photo because I just had to share something with you all today!
I just loved making this cake! It was for a sweet family friend on her 60th birthday! Her daughters ordered the cake and their only request was that it have loads of vanilla buttercream and that I do my design based on her love of orange.
Just recently I had seen this wedding cake covered with cascades of shades of orange flowers and I thought it was gorgeous! I was sure I could do the same effect on a sheet cake, so I went for it!
For the letters, I used the same orange fondant and cut them with the FMM Funky Alphabet Tappit Cutters.
Did I miss anything? If you have questions about how to make this cake, please leave them in the comments!!
