This Gray & Yellow Baby Shower cake was done for my sister-in-law Amy’s baby shower! The shower was in honor of baby Rodney who hadn’t arrived yet!
He’s already a couple of months old now, but here’s a picture of him with Aunt Rose at the hospital! I love me some baby snuggles!
Anywho – this baby shower was truly a family affair. It was for my brother TJ and his wife, hosted by my other brother Jake and his wife and the cake was by me!
Unfortunately, the shower happened when my camera was broken, so all of these pics were done with a cell phone, but I did manage to get a few decent ones.
My pictures don’t do it justice, but Jake and Ariel had their home looking so beautiful with all the gray and yellow decorations!
She used lots of free printable she found online for a You Are My Sunshine Baby Shower theme from Pottery Barn Kids… and it was just precious!
Maybe one day I’ll share this nut roll recipe with you. It’s a family favorite and present at all holidays and any other event where we can talk my sister into making one!
Anyway… there was alot more food, but I didn’t get any good pictures. I did get one of the inside of the cake…
Oh, and I hand cut the bunting flags and used an extruder to make the string for them!
If you like the gray and yellow theme… be sure to check out some other yellow & gray goodies:
