But then, that would be boring, so I couldn’t have that.
I started tinkering with “rainbow” cupcakes (along the line of my rainbow cake). They didn’t turn out quite like I imagined, but still very cute and bright and happy.
I also decided to add sugar sprinkles to some…light green and dark green… I’m so daring!
Then I mixed frosting, green and white…for a swirly effect, like some of these Hot Pink Cupcakes.
Some of them were tiny “mini” cupcakes, just because they’re so darn cute.
And with my helpers… Sarah & Christian, well, they added a special touch…
By the way, do you see that tiny little cupcake sitting on the corner there in front of Christian? Remember it.
Anyway, a couple of them also ended up with a green M&M on top =)
Before the afternoon was done, I had quite the variety of St. Patty’s Day cupcakes.
It actually turned out to be a great night to have a pile of cupcakes sitting around.
Last night I had 9..yes NINE kids at my house. My six, plus three extras for a sleepover. And they loved the cupcakes!
P.S. Do you see Christian stealing that cupcake? He’s such a cutie!!
