Description

Making a homemade graham cracker crust is one of the easiest things you’ll ever do – and it’s also one of the most delicious. This graham cracker crust recipe uses simple ingredients, comes together in just a few minutes, and works perfectly for everything from cheesecake to no-bake pies. It’s quick, reliable, and so much better than a pre-made graham cracker crust from the grocery store.

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 12 graham crackers
  • 1/2 cup salted butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup sugar (white sugar, brown sugar, or a mix)

Instructions

  1. Place the graham crackers in a food processor and pulse until you have fine crumbs.
If you don’t have a food processor, put the crackers in a zip-top bag and crush them with a rolling pin or even a meat mallet until they become fine crumbs.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine the graham cracker crumbs, sugar, and melted butter.
  3. Stir until the crumb mixture looks like wet sand and holds together when pressed.
  4. Pour the mixture into a 9-inch pie plate.
  5. Press the crumbs firmly into the bottom and up the sides of the pan. Use the bottom of a measuring cup or the back of a spoon to create an even layer.
  6. Your graham cracker pie crust is ready to use as-is for a no-bake graham cracker crust, or you can bake it (see below).
