Description

Sweet, simple, old-fashioned grape jelly made the easy way… with store bought grape juice! No crushing, no straining, no stress.

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 3 cups of Grape Juice (no sugar added | NOT sugar free)
  • 1.75 oz. package of Original Sure Jell
  • 4 1/2 cups of Sugar

Tools Needed:

Instructions

  1. Start by adding your juice and Sure-Jell to your stock pot. Mix well.
  2. Bring to a boil. Do NOT add your sugar until your pot is boiling.
  3. Once boiling, add in your sugar and mix well. Bring to a rolling boil. Continue to boil for an additional 3 minutes, while whisking.
  4. Remove from the heat and wipe down the rims of each mason jar. To ensure they are clean and seal nicely.
  5. Fill each jar, leaving a half inch gap from the top. Screw on your lids tightly.
  6. Flip the jars upside down to cool, and they will seal themselves, or you can do a 10 minute water bath.
  7. Once cooled, place a jar in the fridge and store the rest away. Serve and enjoy! You will never buy store bought again.
