This past weekend I completed this Hot Pink & Black Wedding Cake - my third wedding cake...ever. And a groom's cake too ... along with a Legos Cake and a Rose Cake (pics in the Birthday Cakes album at RoseBakes on Facebook)! It was a nerve-wracking experience.
Well, for this weekend, the cake was 4 tiers, with black scrolling and hot pink ribbons.
The cake had vanilla buttercream filling and was covered in homemade marshmallow fondant with fondant ribbons. I piped on the black scrolling with black royal icing (made with Wilton Meringue Powder).
