- Red and green sanding sugar
Instructions
- Prepare a baking sheet with waxed paper or parchment paper

- Use a hand mixer to beat until a dough forms.
- Portion the dough into approximately one-inch balls using a cookie scoop, and place on the prepared baking sheet.
- Freeze for 30 minutes or until hardened.
- Prepare the white candy melts by microwaving in 30-second intervals until completely melted. Stir with a metal spoon in between.
- Use the bamboo stick to dip the truffle in the melted chocolate.
- Place back on the baking sheet, and immediately sprinkle with sanding sugar.
- Place in refrigerator to allow time to harden.
- Enjoy!
Notes
- Be sure to crumble the cake into fine crumbs to ensure a smooth texture in the truffles.
- When dipping each truffle ball in chocolate, use a fork or a dipping tool to make the process easier and mess-free. Then use a fork to slide the truffle off the bamboo stick without messing up the chocolate.
