It’s JULY ya’ll! I hope you’re planning to celebrate with your family & friends this Independence Day weekend! In addition to the 4th of July holiday, July is also National Picnic Month and I’ve partnered up with some other amazing bloggers to help you plan a fun, delicious picnic! Are you ready for the National Picnic Month Recipe Roundup?
First, I have a question for you? What’s your favorite picnic food? Or what food do you think of first when I say “picnic recipe”? Would you leave me a comment and tell me?
When I was invited to join this picnic round-up, my first thought for picnic food was a watermelon. And 2 seconds later I was thinking about my Watermelon Cupcake Toppers. But since that wasn’t actually a recipe, I knew it wouldn’t work.
However, since doing those cupcake toppers a couple of years ago, I always had it in the back of my head to do a recipe for the watermelon cupcakes and this round-up lit a fire under me to get that recipe posted.
So I did! I know this recipe is probably pretty fresh in your minds, but I’m hoping it’ll reach a few readers who missed it the first time around and it will also reach a new audience with the other hosts’ posts! What do you think?
Without further delay – here is the recipe round-up for ya! I hope you all find a fantastic picnic recipe (or two or three)!
