Description

This No-Churn Apple Pie Ice Cream is a creamy apple pie-inspired ice cream… and you don’t need an ice cream maker to make it! With just 10 minutes of prep and a handful of simple ingredients, you get all the flavors of apple pie in a scoopable, freezer-ready dessert. It’s the perfect seasonal flavor for fall parties, holiday dinners, or hot summer days when you want pie but you do NOT want to turn on the oven.

Instructions

  1. Add the heavy cream and vanilla extract to the bowl of a stand mixer that is fitted with the whisk attachment. Beat on HIGH speed for about 1-2 minutes, or until stiff peaks begin to form when the beater is lifted.
  2. Add the cinnamon, nutmeg, and allspice and beat for approximately 30 more seconds. Be careful not to beat the cream for too long or it will begin to turn to butter.
  3. Pour the sweetened condensed milk into the whipped cream mixture and fold it in gently with a rubber spatula until fully incorporated.
  4. Add the apple pie filling and graham cracker crumbs to the bowl and mix gently until well combined.
  5. Pour the ice cream into an 8×4 inch metal loaf pan and smooth out the top with a rubber spatula.
  6. Freeze the ice cream for a minimum of 4 hours for a softer ice cream, or overnight for a harder ice cream.
  7. Remove from the freezer and serve with whipped cream or extra canned apple pie filling on top!

Notes

  • Press plastic wrap directly onto the surface of the ice cream before covering to prevent ice crystals.
  • Store covered in the freezer for up to 2 weeks. Let sit at room temperature for about 5 minutes before scooping.
