These Ole Miss (The University of Mississippi) Cupcakes were so easy to put together – and very festive for a college themed party!
I simply baked the three dozen vanilla cupcakes, and topped them with white and navy blue vanilla buttercream frosting.
Then I placed the pre-cut edible images on top, and voila… they were done!
There were three different images….
Colonel Reb on white frosting.
The Ole Miss football helmets on blue frosting.
And last, the University symbol, also on white frosting.
I baked all of these in brown glassine cupcake liners that have become my most favorite baking cups!
Since I still don’t have a printer to do edible images (and I’m not sure I see one in my future), I ordered the images from Karen at Avery Cakes (no longer in business)! I love being able to support other entrepreneurs and get quality products for my cakes!
Here they are all boxed up! And for you Ole Miss fans… “Hotty Toddy!!”
If you have questions about these cupcakes, please leave them in the comments and I’ll answer!
Can I buy Ole Miss cupcakes from you????
If you’re local to me you can, but I cannot ship or deliver outside my local area.
Hi Rose,
Are you available to make Ole Miss cupcake toppers or have other suggestions for cupcakes. We live in St. Louis, Mo area and would love to have some by May 4th, 2019. Thank you. Laura Lucas
Do you still make the ole miss cupcakes? If so where Are you located and how much per dozen? Do they come in chocolate too?
I’m in Meadville, MS but I’m not currently taking orders for cakes/cupcakes. But, I could possibly do the toppers for you and ship them to you. You could stick them on top of any cupcakes that you make or buy. If you’re interested in that, please send me an email to rose(at)rosebakes(dot)com.
Do you still do the Colonel Reb toppers.
CAN I BUY THE OLE MISS CUPCAKE TOPPERS FROM YOU?
No, I’m sorry. I bought them from Etsy a couple of years ago and I don’t think that shop is still open.
