Did you guys and gals have a wonderful Christmas? We sure did! So good in fact, that I don't want to get out of the holiday mood. I've been so lazy and I can't seem to drag myself back to my computer to write a "real" post and I have zero desire to get in the kitchen and decorate a cake.
I'd rather just keep laying around in my PJ's. Watching the Christmas movies I still have on my DVR. Finishing a book I started. Doing nothing.
But since I have orders on the books for next week, I guess I should really make an effort to get back into blogging and cake decorating. So today I decided to try just a little bit and write a short post. My effort is laughable really... ha! But here it is.
This is Purple & Teal Swirled Buttercream Roses that I did back in July. And it's a cake I've done before. In keeping with my lazy holiday attitude, instead of sharing all the details here, I'm going to tell you to click over to this post and read about my first Teal & Lavender Swirled Buttercream Roses Cake.
Do you have a hard time getting back into a cake mindset after having a break? Or do you miss it and can't wait to start again?
