Description

Easy Peach Cobbler: Comfort food at its best! This warm and delicious treat is perfect for cool weather to warm you up or lift your spirits!

Ingredients

  • 1 stick (4 oz) salted butter, melted
  • 1 cup self-rising flour
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 4 cups sliced peaches (2 16-oz) cans sliced peaches
  • 1 cup milk (2% or whole)
  • dash of vanilla extract (optional)
  • powdered sugar for dusting

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F.
  2. Start by mixing together your sugar, flour, milk, and egg, until smooth.
  3. Pour your melted butter into a casserole dish, covering the bottom.
  4. Pour your batter over the top of the melted butter.
  5. Sprinkle your peaches over top of the batter, evenly. NO MIXING.
  6. Bake at 325°F for one hour or until the top becomes bubbly and cake is baked through.
  7. Sprinkle it with powdered sugar.
  8. Allow it to cool for at least 20 minutes.
  9. Serve and enjoy! Top with ice cream if you choose!
