  • 1 (15.25 oz) box of strawberry cake mix
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 3/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tbsp. strawberry dessert topping
  • 1 tbsp. milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Line an 8×8-inch baking dish with parchment paper and set aside.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the strawberry cake mix, eggs, melted butter, vanilla, and salt.

    Stir until fully combined. The batter will be thick.

  3. Press the batter evenly into the prepared baking dish, making sure it reaches the corners.
  4. Bake for 20–25 minutes, or until set in the center.
  5. Allow the bars to cool completely.
  6. In a small bowl, whisk together the powdered sugar, strawberry dessert topping, and milk until smooth.
  7. Drizzle the glaze evenly over the cooled bars. Let the glaze set before slicing and serving.

Notes

  • Store cooled brownies in an airtight container at room temperature for 2–3 days (cover with plastic wrap if stacking).
  • For longer storage, freeze slices wrapped in plastic wrap and placed in an airtight freezer-safe bag for up to 2 months – thaw at room temperature.
  • If you glaze before storing, keep them in a single layer or separate layers with parchment to preserve the beautiful pink top.
