Description

These Thanksgiving Turkey Sliders are one of the best leftover turkey recipes around! These easy turkey cranberry sliders are baked on soft Hawaiian rolls until they’re warm, melty, and golden brown. They’re perfect for the day after Thanksgiving, game day, or a quick dinner the whole family will love… and they’re ready in about 30 minutes!

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 1 12-count package of sweet Hawaiian rolls
  • 1 pound leftover turkey slices
  • 12 slices provolone cheese
  • 1 cup leftover cornbread dressing (or your favorite stuffing)
  • 4 tablespoons cranberry sauce
  • 1 tablespoon melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon honey
  • 1 teaspoon dijon mustard
  • 1/4 teaspoon poultry seasoning

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F.
  2. Cut the tops off of the rolls with a serrated knife and set them aside. Do not separate the rolls before cutting the tops off.
  3. Carefully place the bottom layer of rolls in a baking dish lined with parchment paper, and arrange 6 slices of provolone cheese on top. Bake in the preheated oven for 6 minutes, or until the cheese is melted.
  4. Remove the bottom layer of rolls from the oven and arrange the turkey on top of the melted cheese.
  5. Spread the cornbread dressing evenly over the turkey.
  6. Arrange the remaining 6 slices of cheese over the top of the dressing.
  7. Spread the cranberry sauce evenly over the underside of the top layer of rolls, and place the top layer back on the sliders.
  8. Combine the butter, honey, and dijon mustard in a small bowl and brush it over the tops of the rolls.
  9. Sprinkle the poultry seasoning evenly over the tops of the sliders.
  10. Bake the sliders in the preheated oven for 16 minutes or until the tops of the rolls are golden brown and the cheese is fully melted.
  11. These are best served right out of the oven.

Notes

  • Make sure the cranberry sauce is thin enough to spread on the rolls. Warm it in the microwave for a few seconds if necessary to make it easier to spread.
  • If the leftover turkey is straight out of the refrigerator, heat it in the microwave for a few seconds before assembling the sliders to ensure it’s not still cold when the sliders are done baking.
