Description

Looking for an easy Christmas appetizer that’s both adorable and delicious? These Laughing Cow Cheese Christmas Trees are perfect for your Christmas party or holiday party! This festive Christmas Tree Appetizer takes just minutes to assemble and requires zero cooking – making it ideal for busy hosts who still want to impress their guests with Christmas Tree appetizers that look like they came straight from a Pinterest board.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 package of Laughing Cow Cheese Wedges (8 per box)
  • 4 Pretzel Sticks (cut in half)
  • 2 teaspoons of Italian Seasoning
  • 2 teaspoons of Garlic Powder
  • 2 teaspoons of Onion Powder
  • 2 teaspoons of Red Pepper Flakes
  • 1/2 a cup of Finely Chopped Dried Cranberries
  • Plate
  • Assorted Crackers (for serving)

Instructions

  1. Add the Italian seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, pepper flakes, and dried cranberries to a plate.
  2. Mix until well combined and spread out in an even layer.
  3. Unwrap each cheese wedge carefully.
  4. Press one side of your cheese wedge down on the plate until it’s evenly coated with spices and cranberries, as shown.
  5. Push half a pretzel stick into the bottom of the wedge, for the trunk.
  6. erve with crackers and enjoy.

Notes

  • These can be made ahead! You can coat the cheese wedges up to 4 hours in ahead and store them in an airtight container in the refrigerator or cover them with plastic wrap on a platter or a sheet pan lined with a piece of parchment paper. Add the pretzel sticks just before serving to keep them crispy.
  • Double down on the Christmas Tree theme by arranging the trees on a white serving platter or cookie sheet in the shape of a tree.
  • Garnish your platter with cherry tomatoes, grape tomatoes, or sliced red bell peppers for extra Christmas color.
  • If you have leftovers, store them covered in the refrigerator. They’ll keep for 2-3 days, though the pretzel sticks may soften over time.
  • For gluten-free or keto-friendly appetizers, you can skip the pretzels and use wooden skewers (cut down to size) instead.
  • Nutritional information is an estimate and does not include optional crackers, frostings, toppings, condiments, or sauces.
