Hey there friend.
This past Saturday was the worst day of my blogging life. I know… that’s so dramatic and annoying but seriously, I cried. A lot.
Here’s what happened.
With one click, I deleted all 25,053 of my current email subscribers.
I thought for a short time that it was a glitch. But within an hour, I’d gotten a reply from my email service provider saying that I had deleted them and they could not restore them for me. Cue the tears. 😭😭😭
I was devastated. I know this may seem trivial or silly to some of you, but email is the way I reach my readers. It’s the direct route… no social media required. No waiting for them to (hopefully) check my blog for updates. I can send them a note and say “hey!” any time I want.
And it’s the place where I connect best with you, reply to you, chat with you… it’s my favorite way to reach out.
Also… I’ve been collecting that stash of emails for the better part of 10 years. So to lose all of your email addresses in a matter of seconds was horrible.
Less than 48 hours later, I had a ray of hope. I found a year-old backup saved on my laptop (from September 2018) and a few other partial backups from 2017. It wasn’t my current, whole list, but it was a good chunk of them.
Also, thanks to Google Drive and my amazing assistant, I had a backup of everybody that had signed up for my emails through the All Things Cake group in the past several months.
Why am I telling you all of this? Because if you used to be on my email list and you didn’t get a welcome email from me (again) in the past 48 hours, I’d love for you to sign up again here.
Or if you’ve never been on my email list, same. Please join here.
For the rest of you … the backup I had downloaded did **not** sort you into previously sorted groups.
If you get an email from me any time in the future that you don’t want to get again, click unsubscribe with my apologies. But if you do love getting my emails and want to be on specific lists, click below and you’ll be sorted again based on your interest.

The Rose Bakes Daily and Weekly are most popular. I also included links for my other blogs as well, since all of them were lost too. If you didn’t know, my other blogs are PressureCookermeals.com, RoseAtwater.com and CakeBlogging.com. They’re not as active as Rose Bakes but I’d love to have you on those lists 😍
Thank you all so much for helping me get this mess sorted out!!
