Description

Air Fryer Tortilla Pizza is made with a simple flour tortilla, pizza sauce, mozzarella cheese, and your favorite pizza toppings. This easy air fryer recipe creates a crispy, thin crust in just minutes. These make for a perfect lunch, a quick snack, an easy weeknight dinner, or a fun personal pizza for the kids. This crispy tortilla pizza is budget-friendly, customizable, and guaranteed to satisfy your pizza craving.

Ingredients

Units Scale
    • 6 small flour tortillas (6-inch 8-inch tortillas work great, depending on your air fryer)
    • 1/2 cup pizza sauce, marinara sauce, or spaghetti sauce
    • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
    • Pepperoni, mushrooms, onions, bell peppers, ground beef, black olives, Italian sausage, or any other favorite toppings

Instructions

Air Fryer Instructions

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 400°F.
  2. Place a tortilla directly in the air fryer basket or on the air fryer rack. (mine has racks)
  3. Spread a thin layer of pizza sauce, leaving a small border around the edges.
  4. Add cheese and your favorite toppings (don’t overload it!).
  5. Cook for 3–5 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the edges are crispy.
  6. Carefully remove, slice, and serve warm.

Oven Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F.
  2. Place the tortilla on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  3. Add the sauce, mozzarella cheese, and toppings.
  4. Bake for 7 to 10 minutes in the preheated oven, or until the cheese is melted and the edges of the pizza are crisp.
  5. For an extra crispy crust, place the tortilla directly on the oven rack during the last 2 minutes of baking.

Notes

  • Use flour tortillas instead of corn tortillas for the crispiest texture.
  • No pizza sauce or spaghetti sauce? Mix a pinch of Italian seasoning into plain tomato sauce for an easy substitute.
  • Spread only a thin layer of sauce. Too much sauce can make the crust soft instead of crispy.
  • Freshly shredded mozzarella melts better than pre-shredded cheese, but either works well.
  • Cook one pizza at a time for the best air circulation and the crispiest crust.
  • Let everyone add their own favorite toppings for an easy pizza night the whole family will enjoy.
  • For an even crispier crust, lightly brush the bottom of the pizza (tortilla) with olive oil before adding the sauce and toppings.
