Description

Bunny Bait – the MOST fun snack ever for Easter. This Easter Bunny Snack Mix is a fun and festive treat perfect for spring! With colorful M&M candies, crunchy pretzels, and white chocolate, it’s easy to make, very addictive and sure to be a hit with everyone. Let’s hop into the recipe!

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 810 cups of popped popcorn (microwave or homemade), buttered and salted
  • 8 ounces of white candy melts or almond bark
  • 1.5 cup Easter M&Ms
  • 1.5 cup Pretzels

Instructions

  1. Line a baking sheet with wax paper and set aside.
  2. Microwave a bag of popcorn and pour it into a large bowl. See my tip below for removing the unpopped seeds.
  3. Add the pastel M&Ms and pretzel twists to the bowl.
  4. Place the white chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl and microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring after each, until the melted candy is smooth.
  5. Pour over the popcorn mix.
  6. Use a silicone spatula to stir the popcorn mix and melted candy until well-coated.
  7. Dump onto the sheet lined with wax paper and spread out.
  8. Allow to harden.
  9. Break into pieces.
  10. Enjoy!!

Notes

  • Usually when we snack on popcorn, we use an air popper with butter flavored non-stick cooking spray and salt. But my youngest kiddo is totally addicted to popcorn, so I buy microwave popcorn that he can make for himself or for my husband to have at work.
  • While we do sometimes use air-popped popcorn, we really prefer microwave popcorn for this recipe. The already salted, super buttery kind, if you must know.
