Description
This Easter Skillet Cookie recipe is perfectly delicious, really pretty and festive for Easter! Use your favorite malted milk eggs, Easter M&Ms, and white chocolate chips in this brown sugar cookie dough for a perfect Easter treat!
Ingredients

- 1 cup of Crisco
- 2/3 cup of Sugar
- 3/4 cup of Brown Sugar (packed)
- 2 eggs (beaten)
- 1 teaspoon of Baking Soda (dissolved in 2 teaspoons of hot water)
- 1 teaspoon of Vanilla Extract
- 2 and 1/4 cup of Flour
- 1 teaspoons of Salt
- 1 cup of White Chocolate Chips
- 1/2 cup of Robin Malted Milk Eggs (crushed)
- Easter M&Ms
- Easter Sprinkles
Equipment Needed:
- 10-inch cast iron skillet
- Stand Mixer (hand-mixer will work)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F.
- Prepare a 10-inch cast iron skillet buy rubbing with butter or vegetable oil, or spraying with non-stick cooking spray.
- In a stand mixer, beat together your Crisco and sugars, until smooth.
- Add in eggs and vanilla and mix.
- Add in remaining dry ingredients and mix until dough forms.
- Dump in chocolate chips and knead into dough.
- Press dough into the bottom of a well greased iron skillet.
- Top with crushed robin eggs, M&Ms, and sprinkles.
- I had a small skillet so I used the remaining cookie dough to make a couple dozen cookies.
- Bake at 375°F for 20-25 minutes, or until golden around the edges and soft in the middle.
- Cool for at least 10 minutes before cutting.
- Serve warm and enjoy!!
Notes
- Don’t have a cast iron skillet? Use a cake pan! It works just as well!
- Easiest Way to Crush the Candy Eggs: It’s easier to crush these using a meat tenderizer or placing them in a bag and banging it on the counter. Chopping them with a knife is difficult and tricky.
