Strawberry pancakes are a delicious way to bring a burst of fruity sweetness to your breakfast table! Whether topped with fresh strawberries, a drizzle of syrup, or a dollop of whipped cream, these fluffy pancakes are sure to be a hit with the whole family. Perfect for a cozy morning or a special treat, they’re easy to make and impossible to resist!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 Egg
  • 1/4 cup of Melted Butter
  • 2 teaspoon of Strawberry Extract
  • 1 and 1/2 cups of Strawberry Milk
  • 1/2 a teaspoon of Pink Food Coloring
  • 2 cups of Flour
  • 4 teaspoons of Baking Powder
  • 1/2 a teaspoon of Salt
  • 3 tablespoons of Sugar
  • 2 tablespoons of Strawberry Frosting (optional, for syrup)
  • Heart Sprinkles (for topping)
  • Fresh Strawberries (for topping)

Instructions

  1. Start by placing your flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar in a large bowl. Whisk until combined.
  2. Add in your strawberry milk, strawberry extract, melted butter, pink food coloring and egg. Mix until very well combined.
  3. Use a piping bag for your batter. Pipe batter into well greased skillet on medium low heat. Low and slow is key. The piping bag makes for less mess!
  4. Cook until the edges are cooked through and the bubbles on top begin to pop. Then quickly flip your pancake and cook the other side, just until baked through.
  5. Stack pancakes on a serving dish.
  6. Place frosting in the microwave until melted. About 30 seconds. Drizzle on top, if desired.
  7. Top with sprinkles and enjoy! The perfect pancake for Valentine’s Day. Enjoy!

Notes

Grease your skillet with melted butter or with nonstick cooking spray. It doesn't matter which you choose, just make sure the entire surface of the pan is fully coated.
