Ingredients

  • 3 pounds baby red potatoes, cut in half or fourths
  • 1 Tablespoon Lawry's Seasoning Salt
  • 1 stick (4 ounces) butter
  • 1 pound fresh green beans
  • 1 medium yellow onion
  • 1 pack onion soup mix
  • 1 pound smoked sausage

Instructions

    1. Wash the fresh green beans and trim off the ends.
    2. Dice the onion (see a full tutorial here)
    3. Wash the potatoes and cut them into halves or fourths, depending on their size.
    4. Slice the smoky sausage into bite-sized pieces.
    5. Add the potatoes to the slow cooker and sprinkle the seasoned salt evenly over the top.
    6. Cut the stick of butter into slices and place them over the potatoes.
    7. Add the fresh green beans, chopped onion, and packet of onion soup mix on top of the potatoes.
    8. Finish by adding the sliced sausage over everything in the crockpot.
    9. Cover and cook on high for 3-4 hours, or until the tender potatoes are fork tender.
    10. Stir well before serving and enjoy warm.
