Description

This Fruit Salsa with Fresh Whipped Cream is a light, cool and refreshing dessert. It’s perfect all on its own, or you can use it as a topping on pound cake, cheesecake, or any number of other desserts.

Ingredients

Scale

Fruit Salsa:

  • 1 peach, peeled
  • 1 Granny Smith apple, peeled
  • 1 Pink Lady apple (or any other sweet apple), peeled
  • 5 strawberries
  • 1/2 cup blueberries
  • 1/4 sugar

For the Fresh Whipped Cream

  • 3/4 cup cold heavy whipping cream
  • 1 Tbsp sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. For the Fruit Salsa, finely dice all of the fruit and mix together in a medium mixing bowl.  Sprinkle the sugar over the top and toss to coat.  Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
  2. For the Fresh Whipped Cream, use the whisk attachment on your stand mixer or an immersion blender.  Add all ingredients to a bowl and whip until stiff peaks form.
  3. Top the fruit with the whipped cream and enjoy, or use as a topping on cake, cheesecakes, or a cream pie.
