A Very Exciting Saturday Night
This past Saturday night, I was sitting on the couch watching a movie while my husband drilled and hammered away in the background (he’s installing a new back door for us). My life is soooo exciting… ha!
But I did find a fun little shopping win, so of course I had to tell you.
The Bag I’ve Been Eyeing for Months
For months, this Case-Mate bag has been tempting me. The ads kept showing up in my Facebook feed over and over, and every single time I’d stop scrolling and stare at it a little longer than I should.
But it’s $80-$100, and that’s a whole lot of money for a beach bag! I just couldn’t do it, no matter how pretty it is (and if you know me at all, you know I don’t even like the beach).
Then Amazon Stepped In
So imagine my surprise when this pretty bag popped up on my Amazon homepage under “discounts for you.” It’s a dupe for under $9 that looks a lot like the $100 Case-Mate?! Yes, thank you!!
A few clicks later and mine was on the way… along with one for my daughter and one for my daughter-in-law. The blue one is under $9, and the other colors are around $15 (I may have also ordered a pink one 🙂).
Will It Live Up to the Original?
It may or may not end up being “just like” the Case-Mate, but worst case, it’s total trash and I send it back. Best case, it’s even close, and I just scored a lookalike for a bag I’ve been eyeing for months… for a fraction of the price!!
