I don’t think I’ve ever met a cheese ball that I didn’t love and these Cheese & Bacon Mini Cheese Ball Bites are certainly no exception. I needed to make some appetizers recently for a holiday get-together and I decided to use Kaukauna® Cheese as my starting point. Kaukauna® Cheese products are delicious by themselves or in a recipe!

And I love it that Kaukauna® cheese is made with 100% real cheddar and comes in a variety of flavors and forms – Cups, Logs, & Balls.

I used Kaukauna® Port Wine Spreadable Cheese in my Cheese & Bacon Mini Cheese Ball Bites and also served a Kaukauna® Sharp Cheddar Cheese Ball on it’s own with crackers! Both were a huge hit for our holiday gathering.

Next stir in the bacon crumbles and mozzarella cheese.

Then when it’s well combined, form into small 1″ balls (I used a tiny scoop but a spoon works just as well).

Last, drop each ball in the crushed walnuts, then roll around to coat. You could place them straight onto a serving platter with the pretzel stick already in the cheeseball, or serve them in a bowl and let guests help themselves!
