Okay - so first up - guess what? We bought a house!!! We bought our DREAM house! I mentioned several weeks back that we were possibly going to buy a house, but that first one didn't work out. And gosh, I'm so glad it didn't. I thought I loved that house ... until I saw this one!
After several weeks and many, many obstacles...
We bought our DREAM home.
And unless God has other plans, it's our forever home!
The land (40 acres!!) is gorgeous and the home is so much of what we need. More bedrooms, more bathrooms, just more space to breath all the way around. We also have formal dining and living rooms (that will be repurposed for other uses... maybe an office, a homeschool room, etc.) and I have to do a tiny (okay, HUGE) kitchen remodel. Then we'll be all set 🙂
Unfortunately there's that little in-between step of actually moving to a new house. UGH!! Least favorite thing ever! I have no idea how we've accumlated so much junk stuff over the past 9 years since our last move.
Except every time we pack up and take a load of boxes, I come back and it seems like I haven't made a dent at all. The only real silver lineing I get to drive down that driveway and see that view every time I make a trip. It's heavenly ...
Also... it snowed just after we moved and this is so, so rare in Mississippi. But this backyard, in spring or in snow... gorgeous!!
Anyway... I just had to share my super exciting news and if I'm missing around here more than usual, you'll know I'm lost in packing paper somewhere. Okay, I'm off to go pack another box... (oy, will it ever end??).
