Ice Cream Cone Cake Pops

These Ice Cream Cone Cake Pops were done as practice for the Ice Cream Party that I shared on Facebook (full post about the Ice Cream party here!). I did them the same day as the Nutter Butter Ice Cream Cone Cookie Treats

These little cake pops are pretty easy to put together. You make cake balls however you normally do them (watch the video on Amazon to see how Bakerella does it – it’s near the bottom of the page) and you can see the ones Bakerella made here.

Because I wanted these to be mini sized, I used a serrated knife and cut less than an inch of the ice cream cone off the top to make it shorter – or you could buy mini ice cream cones.

The I dipped the cake balls in candy melts and placed them (still wet) on the cones. I used chocolate candy coating to drip some “chocolate syrup” over the top, then added a candy and sprinkles (also while still wet).

And that’s it!! They don’t have to be super neat and perfect because ice cream cones never are! Here’s a preview of the ones I did for the Ice Cream Party I’ll be sharing soon…

Do you have any questions about these cake pops? Please leave them in the comments and I’ll do my best to answer and help out!
