Tiktok Viral Crackle Coffee
So many recipes are getting famous on Tiktok and this Viral Chocolate Crackle Coffee is no exception. I'm not much of a coffee drinker unless it's cold and more of a dessert that's flavored like coffee. Like a Mocha Frappe from McDonalds. Or my favorite dessert, Tiramisu.
But this is dirty coffee in a chocolate-coated cup topped with cold foam creamer. I mean, it's got coffee, chocolate, and creamer—so, so good!

- Microwave safe bowl
- Microwave
- Spoon or small spatula
- Measuring cups and spoons

These ingredients are so simple and so versatile. See my list of substitutions below.
- Chocolate Almond Bark or Chocolate Melting Wafers
- Cold Water
- Instant Coffee (or your favorite cold coffee drink)
- Creamer - coffee creamer that is. And you can use any flavor that you love. I'm a big fan of Sweet Cream Coffee Creamer. My son loves Caramel Machiatto.
- Whole Milk
- Cold Foam Creamer
- Ice

Substitutions
Viral Chocolate Crackle Coffee is so easy to change up based on your tastes. I will list a few things you might change, but really, the sky is the limit!
Chocolate - You want any chocolate that's easy to melt, so I prefer melting wafers or almond bark. The best part is that both of these products come in different flavors, including white chocolate and/or dark chocolate.

Instant Coffee & Cold Water - If you don't have or don't want to use Instant coffee, you can use any cold coffee drink that you love. Maybe an iced chocolate latte? Make it yourself or buy a premade cold coffee drink.
Creamer - Heavy Cream or your favorite flavored creamer!
Note: You may even skip the milk and creamer with a store-bought drink! The fun is in the crackle, so you're not cheating!
If you're really patient, you could make your favorite real hot coffee (we have this Keurig and my husband says it's the perfect machine and he refuses to drink instant coffee - he is the coffee drinker in our house), then chill it for a few hours or overnight before making this delicious drink!
Cold Foam Creamer - I'm pretty sure cold foam creamer is a new(er) product (correct me if I'm wrong - again, not a coffee drinker) but it seems to be the product of choice for these drinks and it is so, so good. But if you want a great substitute, use fresh whipped cream. Mmmm, so good!
How to Make Tiktok Viral Crackle Coffee
- Start by melting down your chocolate in the microwave. It takes about 2 minutes and 30 seconds. Stir every 30 seconds until smooth.
- Pour half your melted chocolate inside of a plastic cup and half in the other. Use a small spatula or spoon or gently turn your cup, until the whole inside is coated in chocolate, as shown. Shake the excess down to the bottom. Place in the freezer for 10 minutes.
- Once frozen solid, fill your cups ¾ of the way with ice.
- Mix together your cold water and instant coffee. Pour half into each cup.
- Pour half your creamer into each cup. Fill the rest of your cups with milk and top with cold foam creamer.
- Squeeze your cup gently to crack up the chocolate and enjoy!
- It's so, so good!
The last step is to crackle the chocolate before enjoying the drink - this is the fun part!! Enjoy immediately after making!
