13+ Valentine’s Cakes & Party Ideas

It’s the time of year where everywhere you look is red and pink and all the hearts. So I thought it would be fun to invite members of my All Things Cake group to share some of their best Valentine’s Cakes and I’ve chosen a few to feature plus some of my favorites from Pinterest… so here are 13+ Valentine’s Cakes & Party Ideas!

13+ Valentine’s Cakes & Party Ideas

The very first cake that caught my eye in the All Things Cake group was this sweet little Ruffled Heart Cake by Love Cake Create. With that beautiful heart on top and the tiny Valentine on the front – it is perfect!

When I stumbled across this Valentine’s Watercolor Heart Cake – I was immediately blown away! The soft water colors and the tiny hexagons and those frilly flowers… it’s all just so stunning! Credit : Cláud’ Art Sugar.

This cake is by yours truly… a Heart Wreath Princess Cake. I don’t know why I always get obsessed with all things tiny, and this cake is no exception… I have all the details here on Rose Bakes.

One of the crowd favorites shared in our group was this cake by Estzi’s Custom Cakes. If you read through the comments here, she even explains how she did the hole through the cake with the tiny heart ❤️️

Conversation Hearts are the signature candy of the love holiday, so of course I had to share this lovely Valentine’s Conversation Heart cake by Sweets by Melissa.

I can’t forget the petit fours…

These Heart Petit Fours are one of my most popular blog posts this time of year, so I wanted to mention them for you cakers who are looking for treats to offer your clients. My post includes the tutorial and a recipe for amazing petit fours!

I adore this Cookies & Milk Cake by Sweet Bakes via The Cake Blog. I mean really… is there a more adorable cake anywhere that’s this perfect for Valentines?

Now this is just fun!! Fuzzy Valentine’s Critters Cakes (and Cupcakes) by Caitie Cakes. My hand aches just thinking about all that piping, but still… so cute!!

A few years ago I was asked to make a small, simple sheet cake for a classroom Valentine’s party. The above Valentine’s Sheet cake is what I made for my client and she loved it! Click here to see all the details.

I’m not sure I’ve ever confessed this publicly, but I could eat sheets and sheets of those little hard sugar decorations sold in grocery stores for cake decorations. I love them so much. So this Candy Heart Studded Pink Velvet Cake by Liv for Cake is a winner all the way around!

While pink is my most favorite color of all… that hasn’t always been so. I used to love, love, love red. So much so that my wedding colors were black and red. I think that’s why I’m so obsessed with this Black and Red Valentine’s Cake by Butterbug Cakes.

Valentine’s Brownies

These Valentine’s Day Brownies are easy (made from a boxed mix) and pretty. Adding special touches like butterscotch chips and chocolate topping makes them a delicious and beautiful sweet treat!

One last thing… cookies!

And lastly… my Lace Valentine’s Cookies. I share these every time Ig et a chance because I still can’t believe that I made them and that the came out so pretty! I have all the details here.
