Variations
Prefer Homemade Brownies? Use this homemade fudgy brownies recipe to make your brownies from scratch.
No Heart Mold? The end result will be a little different, but if you don't have the silicone mold, you could use parchment paper to line a regular pan (or spray it with nonstick spray) and bake the brownies. Then use a heart-shaped cookie cutter to cut out the brownies.
Next, instead of molding the chocolate for the top of the brownies, you'd pour the melted chocolate over the top of the heart brownies and add the sprinkles! This is a great way to make a decadent dessert without having to buy another special pan.
Serving Suggestions
These brownie hearts are perfect just as they are, but if you want to go the extra mile, you can serve them in a bowl with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
Or for serious chocolate lovers, a scoop of chocolate ice cream.
These heart-shaped brownies also make a great Valentine's Day gift for a teacher or friend! And homemade gifts are always the best, right?
Storage Directions
Room Temperature / Refrigerator: Any leftover brownies can be stored at room temperature for 3 to 4 days in an airtight container or wrapped in plastic wrap. They'll also keep up to a week in the refrigerator.
Freezer: Brownies can be frozen when wrapped tightly in a freezer-safe container. They will keep for up to 3 months but the quality may not be as good.
