Cookie Dough Dip
This dessert dip is a personal favorite because it tastes so much like cheesecake with chocolate chips. I could honestly whip up a batch of this fluffy chocolate chip dip and eat it with a spoon!
But that is frowned upon so instead, we love to eat it with these pie crust cookies or fresh fruit. It’s the perfect way to satisfy your sweet tooth or make something unique for a party if you’re short on time, but want to impress!

Why You’ll Love this Easy Cheesecake Dip Recipe
There are a hundred reasons to love this delicious cheesecake dip. Here are the top ones…
- It only has 5 ingredients.
- It’s ready in 5 minutes.
- You can grab store-bought
- This easy dessert dip is no-bake, but tastes like cheesecake or cookie dough – without the raw eggs!
Tools Needed
- Large Bowl
- Electric Mixer (or a stand mixer)
- Measuring Cups and Spoons
- Rubber Spatula
- Serving Bowl
Ingredients
With only five simple ingredients and 5 minutes of your time, you can make this chocolate chip cheesecake dip recipe and be on your way!

- Cream cheese, room temperature. You don’t want to skimp here. I recommend full-fat cream cheese for the best chocolate chip dip with cream cheese.
- Butter, softened in the microwave for about 15 seconds. I like salted butter, but unsalted butter works just as well if you prefer to control the amount of salt in your desserts
- Vanilla extract
- Powdered sugar
- Mini semi-sweet chocolate chips, plus extra for topping. Regular size chocolate chips feel too big for this recipe, but if you can find the mini version of another type of chocolate chips, feel free to mix it up! I think dark chocolate chips would be fantastic in this dip. Milk chocolate chips are a little too sweet for me in this recipe but again, if that’s your jam, go for it!

How to Make Cream Cheese Chocolate Chip Dip
This dessert dip is so easy to make and is ready in about 5 minutes after you get your ingredients to room temperature.
- Add the cream cheese, butter, and vanilla extract to a large mixing bowl and beat with an electric mixer until creamy.

- Add the powdered sugar to the cream cheese mixture and mix until well combined. Scrape down the sides of the mixing bowl with a rubber spatula to ensure all the ingredients are fully incorporated. Beat the mixture again on high speed until it is very fluffy – about 3 minutes.
- Add the chocolate chips to the mixing bowl and fold them in with a rubber spatula.
- Scoop the dip into a serving bowl and top with extra mini chocolate chips OR move it into an airtight container and chill it until serving time.

- Serve the dip with apple slices, graham crackers, or pie crust cookies.
- This recipe will yield approximately 2 to 2½ cups of dip (depending on how much air is whipped into it)

Pro Tips for No Bake Cheesecake Dip
- Soften cream cheese properly. Make sure your cream cheese is softened to room temperature before mixing. This helps get creamy, smooth dip without lumps, making it easier to combine with the other ingredients.
- Use an electric mixer. This is not a recipe you want to mix by hand. To get the best creamy texture, use a stand mixer or electric hand mixer. This whips in a bit of air, making the dip lighter and smoother.
- Chill for the most tasty dip! Although you can enjoy this chocolate chip dip recipe immediately, letting it chill in the fridge for at least an hour improves the flavor and texture. The ingredients will meld together and the dip thickens just right for dipping.
