Happy Saturday!! I'm finally sitting down after a busy few days and I thought I'd so one of my short posts where I just give you a quick rundown of this Turquoise & Lime Green Swirled Buttercream Roses Cake.
But first, this cake was for one of my daughter's friends birthday... her name is Victoria! You can see a previous Beach/Pool Party Cake I did for her (and cake pops) here. She's a sweetheart and her Mom and I have known each other since high school! It's always fun when I reconnect with friends I've known for years by doing their kids cakes!!
Anywho... my hubby played in the community band Thursday night and we went to our hometown Christmas parade! Then Friday I finished up 4 cake/cupcakes/cookie orders for this weekend (plus some random extra cupcakes I sold), we got our Christmas tree & outside lights up, our house clean, my husband almost finished our kitchen ceiling (we're remodeling very slowly) and we attended a birthday party today.
Obviously, it's been a full 3 days and I'm thrilled to be doing nothing on this Saturday night other than watching TV with the family and enjoying some down time!
So, I'm gonna get back to it 😉 Here’s what I can tell you about this cake:
- 8″ round vanilla cake (I love Magic Line pans!!)
- Turquiose & Lime Green vanilla buttercream piped with a Wilton 1M Tip.
- I actually used Americolor Electric Blue and Electric Green to get these colors!

And that’s it, I guess! Do you have any questions about this cake? Leave me a comment!!
