Little Debbie Christmas Tree Crack

Christmas Tree Cake Crack is one of those recipes you won’t be able to make just once! It’s really just another version of Christmas Crack or Saltine Toffee or Cracker Candy but this one looks like Little Debbie Christmas Tree Cakes which is one of my favorite things!

I mean really – anything made by Little Debbie snack cakes is a winner, right? Especially seasonal snack cakes like Christmas Tree Cakes. They are one of the most highly sought-after snacks on the planet. (okay, maybe I’m exaggerating a little bit.)

Although I must confess – this recipe doesn’t actually use any Little Debbie Christmas Tree Snack Cakes… it just looks like them but is just as addictive!

Pro Tips

  • Saltines work best for this recipe but you can use also use Ritz crackers. Any salted cracker should work just fine.
  • You could use red frosting instead of the red candy melts, but then you cannot stack the broken crack candy pieces – they would need to remain in in a single layer.

Storage Directions

Store any leftover crack candy in an airtight container or cover with plastic wrap for up to 3 days. This candy can be kept at room temperature.

  1. That sounds so delicious! We love traditional candy crack and have made a few varieties but this isn’t one I’ve heard of before.

  2. I wanted so badly to like this recipe. It was so difficult to break the pieces apart because of the soft filling. It was also so tooth achingly sweet! I have a decent sweet tooth but this wasn’t even really enjoyable.
If you can handle mega-sweet then this may be the treat for you. For me, it was a very expensive experiment.
The toffee/cracker part was pretty good, though.

    1. Thank you so much for your feedback – I’m so sad to hear this and that the recipe wasn’t to your liking. I understand that taste preferences are real thing and I apologize if it didn’t meet your expectations. Have a Happy New Year!

  3. Crack Candy is so addictive and this Christmas Tree Cake version was really fun for Christmas! It’s super sweet, but we loved it!
