10 Pretty Princess Cakes
For whatever reason, I’ve had Princess Cakes on my brain for the past week or so and I got to thinking about all the different ones I’ve made. This is not all of the ones I’ve made by a long shot, but these are certainly some of my favorites and a really good variety! So here you go… 10 Pretty Princess Cakes!

I haven’t posted about all of these cakes but I’ll link to the ones that have more details and just give a brief description of those that don’t have a post and as always, you can comment and I’ll answer any questions!
So are you ready? Keep reading (and scrolling 😉 ) to see the princess cakes!

This first Pink Ombre Buttercream Princess Cake is one of my all time favorites. Get all the details about this cake here.

This Princess Cake is one of the very first ones I made. And actually, I’ve made it twice! You will find a post about the first one here – including cake pops and cookies too!

This Sofia the First Princess Cake is one of my newer ones and I haven’t posted about it other than on Facebook, but it’s a favorite for sure! I didn’t know if I was going to be able to pull off the buttercream ruffles on fondant but I was so very happy with the final result!

I think this might be my very newest Pink & Gold Princess Cake – and by far a favorite! I don’t have a dedicate blog post for it, but gosh – I can’t wait to share all the details!

This easy-peasy Princess Castle cake was made for my sister-in-law Ariel. It was done years ago when neither my skills nor photography were great, but I was so proud of this little cake and if you need to do a castle in a pinch – this is an easy version! See the post here.

I had almost forgotten about this Princess cake with a tiara and bows… you’ll find the details of it here. Oh and a little shortcut for ya – a tutorial for the tiara here!

This cake. Oh, this cake. I loved it so very much but it was the source of much anxiety for me. Find all the details of the Princess & The Pea Bed Cake here.

This Ombre Ruffles Princess Cake with Gum Paste Tiara is probably one of my more unique princess designs. Be sure to get the details and see the inside here.

This is another cake that I haven’t posted here on the blog! I did fondant ruffles (tutorial here), a gum paste tiara (tuturial here), and used Funky Alphabet cutters for the name here. Any other questions… leave me a comment!

And last, but not list… this was a Disney Princesses Cake. Again – no blog post, but I loved this sweet little cake. I know, I know… the princesses are missing, but Amelie’s mom was going to add them at the party!
BONUS: I’m adding a new one! This is one of my newest cakes and blog posts – a Lavender, Mint & Gold Princess Cake! Click here for all the details!
And that’s it… 10 11 Pretty Princess Cakes for you! If you have any questions about any of them – leave me a comment!
Happy Caking!

Hi Rose, these are beautiful! And such great inspiration – putting a couple of ideas from these together for a little princess cake for this weekend :).
I wanted to try the crown from the first cake – but the link underneath that picture takes you to a different cake. It’s also gorgeous, but not the one I’m looking for :). I’m hoping for an easier crown than the tiara (which I love but don’t have time for). Thanks!!
Oh sorry about that Caroline! I actually don’t have a tutorial for the simpler one yet, but I just searched online for a template I liked, cut it out then wrapped the shape around a 4″ dummy cake and let it dry! Then I painted it gold 🙂
That’s what I figured and that’s what I did! Thanks! It’s drying now, I think it looks cute. Can’t wait to put it on the cake (which hasn’t been created yet!). I spray-painted it with Wilton gold edible spray paint, which didn’t go so well. I’ll have to try something else next time. It’s not as sparkly as I would have liked. Maybe next time I’ll paint with gold shimmer airbrush color. (Maybe thinned with vodka.)
(I meant shiny, not sparkly 🙂 )
I used Imperial Gold Luster Dust mixed with lemon extract and painted it to get the super shiny look!
