Grinch Punch Recipe
I'm not sure if classic sherbet punch is a Southern thing or an American thing or what, but I've been enjoying sherbet punch my whole life at bridal and baby showers, weddings, and parties! There are several variations of it, but at the core are simple ingredients that end up being an addictive punch!
Some versions have fruit juice - like pineapple juice or white apple juice. Other versions have ginger ale instead of lemon-lime soda. And occasionally, I've even seen a variation with vanilla ice cream instead of sherbet for a creamier punch that is not as tart.
But if you've never had it, it's a creamy citrus dessert drink that is a huge hit everytime I make it. It's an easy Christmas punch (or party punch for other occasions).
And today, this festive holiday punch is inspired by everybody's favorite holiday villain - The Grinch.
Why You'll Love Grinch Punch
- It's FUN! This fun drink is perfect for a themed Grinch party; the whole family can enjoy it!
- It's super easy! With only three ingredients, it's ready to drink in just a couple of minutes!
- Versatile. You can make an adult version with one extra ingredient and have a fun, festive drink for your next Christmas party with friends. It can also be made in a pretty punch bowl to dress it up a bit or in a simple glass pitcher for easy pouring.
- Perfect for holiday parties! Because this green punch is so fast and easy to make, you can replenish your punch bowl easily throughout your next holiday party by adding more sherbet, soda, and/or punch as needed!
- Is The Grinch not your favorite holiday movie? You can still make this holiday punch recipe, and because it's green, it's still perfect for Christmas time.

Lime Sherbet - If you can't find lime sherbet, you can substitute pineapple sherbet or even vanilla ice cream
Lemon-Lime Soda - I prefer 7up, but you could also use Sprite or Gingerale in this recipe
Hawaiian Punch - Instead of Hawaiian Fruit Punch, you could use a gallon of green lemon lime Kool Aid.
Maraschino Cherries - If you don't have cherries or don't like them, you could also sprinkle on some red sprinkles or red sprinkle hearts to make this really easy green punch POP with color.
